Over my birthday weekend in October, Mom and I were talking about making jewelry and all the pieces that can be made for any occasion. On our travels, she took me to a bead store and it was love at first glimpse of glass beads :)
The store was filled with all colors, shapes, sizes and gorgeous completed pieces of jewelry. I was searching for a hobby and decided to pick some beads up and try my hand at it. Little did I know it would fill a need in my life after work hours and provide me with an outlet on those stressful days!
As I scoured websites seeking answers to my jewelry queries, I kept returning to Etsy. I read the reviews, good and bad. I fretted over starting something there and finally gave in. Why not give it a try, right?
RIGHT I WAS! I love Etsy and the ease of posting. Albeit I have not made a ton of sales but I have made jewelry that I enjoy and that I'm proud of. I have shared the site with folks and have asked them to share it with others.
